titanium |
|

Titandioxid
ist dagegen ein sehr gebräuchliches Weißpigment. |

titanium |
chemical element (Ti) that has a low density
and is a strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including to sea water,
aqua regia and chlorine) transition metal with a silver color. It can
be alloyed with iron, aluminium, vanadium, molybdenum, among other elements,
to produce strong lightweight alloys for a whole range of applications,
especially where corrosion resistance and strength and light-weight is
required. Although it is not at all rare it is difficult and therefore
expensive to produce. |
