kan zowel twee- als driedimensionaal zijn, waarbij de horizontale gewoonlijk
het vlak van een tweedimensionale richting is. De richting zelf is geen
hoek, wordt echter als hoekafstand van een referentiepunt aangegeven. Zij
kan daarom ook nauwkeuriger worden aangegeven, bv. als kompasrichting, magnetische
richting, ware richting, relatieve richting, etc. Onder mercatorrichting
verstaat men de horizontale richting van een loxodroom, uitgedrukt als de
hoekafstand van een referentierichting. De richting van een grote cirkel
is de op dezelfde wijze weergegeven horizontale richting van een grote cirkel. |

kann sowohl zwei- als auch dreidimensional sein, wobei die Horizontale für
gewöhnlich die Ebene der zweidimensionalen Richtung ist. Die Richtung
ist selbst kein Winkel, wird jedoch als Winkelabstand von einer Bezugsrichtung
angegeben. Sie kann deshalb auch genauer bezeichnet werden als Kompaßrichtung,
magnetische Richtung, wahre Richtung, relative Richtung usw. Unter Mercator-Richtung
versteht man die horizontale Richtung einer Loxodrome, ausgedrückt
als Winkeldistanz von einer Bezugsrichtung. Großkreisrichtung ist
die auf die gleiche Weise dargestellte horizontale Richtung eines Großkreises. |
