zeestroom in de noordelijke Stille
Oceaan, die tussen 10°N en 20°N in westelijke richting stroomt en zich
ten oosten van de Filipijnen opsplitst. Een arm gaat naat het zuiden,
om zich bij de pacifische Equatoriale Tegenstroom te voegen, de andere
arm buigt naar het noorden, om als Kuroshio de Japanse kust te volgen.
