Benguelastrom |

Meersströmung entlang der afrikanischen Westküste, die hauptsächlich
durch die vorherrschenden Südostpassatwinde
hervorgerufen wird. Der Bengualastrom richtet sich in der Nähe des
Äquators nach Westen, wo es zum Atlantischen
Südäquatorstrom wird. |

a slow-moving ocean current flowing
generally northwestward along the west coast of Africa. It is caused mainly
by the prevailing southeast trade
winds. Near the equator the current flows westward and becomes
the Atlantic South
Equatorial Current. |
